Biography

Traci Bianchi-Templin serves as a Clinician II in the School-Based Mental Health and Wellness Program providing clinical and program support to all roles within the program. Traci began as a clinician when the program launched in 2020. She has worked at Taylor Street Elementary and Nathaniel S. Colley, Sr. High School and she has worked closely with partners and leadership to support the development and expansion of the program’s goals. Prior to working with the SBMHW program, Traci was a clinician working with Sacramento County Office of Education Court and Community Schools Program and in private practice. Traci has worked with youth and families in community-based non-profit organizations, in primary and secondary school settings, and in a foster youth mentoring program. She has provided trauma-informed mental health services for at risk youth and their families, foster and adoptive youth, and children and adults from varying backgrounds.

Traci is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and she holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a master’s degree in Public Administration/Health Services Administration from the University of San Francisco. She has over 20 years of experience in various health care settings helping to develop and implement quality assurance and training programs within healthcare service organizations. To maintain balance in her life, Traci enjoys the outdoors: hiking, kayaking, skiing, cycling, and camping. She believes that any outdoor activity with family or friends – and the family dogs, Huckleberry and Coyote – nourishes the soul!
