Biography

Alexis serves as a Clinician II in the School-Based Mental Health and Wellness program. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with deep expertise in clinical supervision, program development, and school-based mental health services. For more than fifteen years, she has supported individuals, families, and communities across public agencies, non-profit organizations, and private practice settings. Alexis is committed to fostering growth, trust, and positive change in clients, clinicians, and systems.

Earlier roles include Clinical Manager, Family Support Program Director, and lead clinician in San Francisco, Oakland/Alameda, and El Dorado County. These roles involved overseeing a multidisciplinary clinic, supervising associates, managing a large caseload, leading HR-wide process improvements, managing clinical and educational teams, leading grant-funded programs, and spearheading critical COVID-19 response initiatives.

She earned a B.S. in Psychology from Northeastern University, and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco.

Alexis grew up in Mountain View, CA and now resides in Sacramento, where she enjoys gardening, reading, baking gluten free goodies, and spending time with her dog, Bean.
